About six weeks ago, we moved our headquarters to a beautiful and significantly larger space at 419 State Street, and today we made it official with a ribbon cutting featuring the Mayor of Santa Barbara, Cathy Murillo, and city council members Kristen Sneddon and Oscar Guitierrez.

Our move to this new, larger space is really exciting for us (not only for the added conference room space and killer rooftop views!), but because it represents an incredible year of growth for the company. In 2018, we added nearly 60 additional employees in Santa Barbara alone, and we’re planning to add more than 200 local jobs by 2021.

As we grow, one of the things that remains of utmost importance is the health, happiness, and wellness of our employees. This is the primary reason we’ve committed to having our headquarters in downtown Santa Barbara. Employees can balance work with fun – whether it’s grabbing a bite to eat, shopping, or heading to the beach for a run or surf. We even have a number of employees that have started doing walking meetings on the beach since moving to this location.

Being in the heart of Santa Barbara also enables our employees to give back to the community – whether it’s heading over to Harding School school for United Way’s Lunch Bunch program, cleaning up Leadbetter Beach through the Adopt-a-Beach Program, or taking a break from our desks to do something like assembling emergency food boxes for the Santa Barbara Food Bank, which we completed in our offices today.

Gregg Johnson, CEO of Invoca, commented, “We’re proud to be part of the thriving tech community in Santa Barbara, and remain committed to investing in recruiting and developing top talent in the area. Moving our headquarters to State Street not only gives us significantly more space, but enables our employees to walk to great restaurants, shopping, and the beach. As a result, we hope to contribute to the revival of this area.”

Invoca was recently named a Best Place to Work for 2019 by Inc. Magazine for the second consecutive year, which underscores the company’s commitment to building a workplace culture that’s inclusive, supportive, and high-performing, and also provides industry leading employee benefits and perks.
